Ryane Severin’s easy smile greets you when you walk through the door to her natural foods market and café.  You immediately feel that you have come to a wholesome place.  Savory smells drift from the kitchen and your eyes rest on the neatly arranged shelves stocked with canned-goods and packets of oats and crackers, tea, soup, pastas.  There is a small selection of green groceries delivered five times each week by Black River Produce and of organic meats from Stony Pond Farms in Fairfield.  In the dairy cooler is fresh organic milk, goats milk and buffalo milk yogurts and gourmet cheeses from Grafton, VT and Organic Valley.

The Sunrise Café offers muffins, scones and bagels baked on site, to eat in or take along home.  For lunch you can order a variety of sandwiches with fillings such as hummus, tofu, avocadoes, cheese and turkey, eggs and bacon, or let Ryane dish up homemade soup, vegetarian chili and fresh salads. On Fridays you can pick up fresh fish and freshly cut flowers! For Thanksgiving organic turkeys will be available.

The Sunrise Café & Natural Foods Market shares space with The Well, a Family Wellness Center & Studio.  They are located on Route 108, directly across from the Highlander.    Hours of operation are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm seven days a week. Natural Food Market Opens in Jeffersonville

Conveniently located on the way to Smugglers' Notch on Rt. 108, Sunrise is an independent, family owned and operated natural foods market offering a wide variety of organic produce, meats, dairy and grocery products, in addition to a gourmet deli featuring freshly baked breakfast bagel sandwiches, homemade baked goods, soups, sandwiches, salads, and smoothies.

Local owners Ryane and Bert Severin also make fresh organic peanut butter, organic espresso and espresso drinks to order and offer bulk foods, free high speed internet, and fresh fish delivered on Fridays to kick off the weekend.
